We started the day at Galbraith Hall as Jenni was getting ready for her wedding.
When it started to rain I didn't think much of it and I always have a backup location for portraits in my mind just in case of bad weather.
Well it rained so hard right before Jenni’s wedding the streets around the guests hotel were staying in flooded!
Jenni and Justin had their first look and we got some portraits done at Memorial Auditorium looking over the downpour and College Green.
The rain was full force like a hurricane. I had one golf umbrella so I gave it to them. Jenni held on to her wedding dress and ran through the rain with Justin. I took the photos of them running. I didn’t think of the photos until I edited them later. I submitted some of the running though the ran photos and got them published in Shutter Magazine!
There was a break in the rain so the family got through the flooded street with the shuttle bus. After the wedding the weather cleared enough for the wedding party to get photos on College Green. We then headed on down to Walter Hall for the reception. I will definitely remember this wedding for the rest of my life!
