Athens Ohio Wedding Photographs - Julia and Tristan

I always get excited when I get to go to Athens, Ohio and photograph a wedding. Athens is my hometown and it is nice to see my parents and everything is with in a walk or a five minute drive. The Ohio University Campus is very green and the red brick buildings have great color to them. The College Green in the middle of campus is very symmetrical and has some wonderful leading lines to it. It is very hard not to like Athens.

I started the day going to the Ohio University Inn and photograph the dress and the bridal party getting ready. I learned that the groom Tristan bought Star Trek comunicators for all of the groomsmen. I am a huge fan of the newer Star Trek movies and thought this was very fun. The ceremony was held at the OU Inn as well so it made it easy on their guests having it all in one location. After the ceremony we traveled to College Green and had a lot of fun with all the portraits. We then went back to the OU Inn for the reception in the ballroom. Congradulations to Julia and Tristan!
