Theresa and Nick's Wedding at Tall Timbers Banquet Center
Theresa and Nick are two fun people that are so easy to get along with. I had a great time taking their portraits all around Columbus. Despite a little rain I came out with a bunch of portfolio shots that I could use to update my website with. I started the day with Nick and his family getting ready for the Vietnamese Tea Ceremony. The tea ceremony is basically a way for the groom's family to ask permission for the bride's hand in marriage. It was very cool to witness this and I was happy to take photos of it. We then traveled to St. Charles Preparatory School for the ceremony. I loved this church for its wonderful architecture. The rows of columns outside were perfect for the portraits afterwards. It was so beautiful! After taking a few portraits we traveled to Tall Timbers Banquet Center. The Tall Timbers Banquet Center was also a nice place for a few portraits. As I was about to leave I heard the DJ announce that they are going to have a surprise farewell for the couple. I went outside and to my amazement Theresa and Nick where lighting two paper lanterns and releasing them into the sky. The lanterns went up into the clouds. Then fireworks were set off! It was so much fun and such a surprise for Theresa and Nick. I wish them all the best in their new life together.
